Job Title: Welder

Location:  Fox Lake

Position Type:  Full Time


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clean and safe work environment
  • Clearly defined pay scale based on performance – you control your pay, updated every 2 weeks based on daily production
  • 1st and 2nd shift roles available; work 4x 10hr shifts and enjoys 3 day weekends
  • Strong support team: experienced plant management on 1st and 2nd shift, fixture design, quality control, continuous improvement
  • We’ve recently invested over $1MM in the weld department

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • MIG welding experienced in steel and/or aluminum
  • Desire to work in a high volume, production welding environment
  • Interest in being part of a strong team and to work in a performance oriented culture

ADDITIONAL NOTES

This position will require an energetic, strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. Salary: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour.

Job Title: English/French Customer Service Representative

Location:  Fox Lake

JOB OVERVIEW

The objective of this role is to act as a liaison, provide product/service information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that customers might face with accuracy and efficiency.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls, responding to emails, and addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a calm and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, ensuring all interactions are properly documented.
  • Stay up-to-date with company products and services to provide accurate information to customers and effectively address their needs.
  • Additional accounting and reporting duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation.
  • At least one (1) year of previous experience in customer service function.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

JOB OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for performing preventive and unscheduled maintenance on the facility, machinery, and equipment at Karavan’s Fox Lake facility.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work as a team player with all levels of the organization and contribute to continuously elevating organizational capacity/capability to achieve new levels of performance.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
  • Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
  • Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
  • Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and helping in placing orders.
  • Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
  • Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
  • Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Electrical (circuits, installations/upgrades, schematics)
  • Plumbing (supply and drain systems, upgrades, supply lines, and meters)
  • Mechanical (installations, repairs, assembly, drawings)
  • Pneumatic/Hydraulic (installation, maintenance, repairs, schematics)
  • Building/Grounds (general maintenance duties)

Job Title: Tube Laser Operator

Location:  Fox Lake

Hourly/Salary:  Hourly

Department/Division:  FAB

Reports To: Fabrication Supervisor

Position Type:  Full Time


JOB OVERVIEW

A laser operator will take responsibility for producing structural parts from a variety of metal materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This person will be responsible for machine set-ups, general periodic maintenance, general raw material staging, basic part inspection and processing, and other operator duties.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to operate, load, and unload material from machines.
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturing instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and contacting Operations Manager(s) for repairs.
  • Communicates effectively among work shifts by relaying workload, irregularities, and production needs.
  • Work with material handlers to keep material and parts flowing through the Fabrication area in an effective/safe manner.
  • Take measurements accurately using various measurement tools.
  • Maintaining equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to work OT with little notice when required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • A technical degree is preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Must be willing to assist in other areas when needed.
  • Ability to read and accurately use measuring tools.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints.
