Job Title: Controller
Position Overview:
The Controller should be experienced and detail-oriented and will oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will manage accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Manage internal controls and audit processes.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
