Position Overview:

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the transportation of trailers across the United States. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring timely deliveries, and optimizing logistics operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage the transportation of trailers across the United States.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of trailers.
• Monitor and track shipments, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with 3rd party partners, suppliers, and customers to resolve any issues related to transportation.
• Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery schedules, and transportation costs.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of logistics operations and implement improvements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Manage and mentor a team of logistics coordinators and support staff.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in the transportation of trailers or similar heavy equipment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations.
